French II is a course designed to develop confidence toward the target language. In order to reach this ultimate goal, working on French stories is one of the tools we use. This work is organized in a socio-cultural perspective. The students practice the four skills of the foreign language learning: speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
Students will write a story in the target language using the parts of speech outlined below. They will make a digital advertisement for their story using Glogster and they will record an interview with the author(themsleves) which will be included on their advertisement poster. Their story along with the advertisment which will act as the cover, will be present through their wikispace.
The work consists in two parts:
The first part is a written part: the girls need to follow these 10 steps:
Descriptions des 3 aventures 5 phrases chacunes (15)
Introduction: héros, lieu, situation de départ (10 phrases)(10)
The second part is the presentational mode:
Students will create an interactive advertisement poster, using Glogster.com.
The students have to create an interactive poster advertising their stories using Glogster,
The poster needs to include displaying articles, pictures and sound.
They will interview the author (themselves!!) use Garage Band to record their voice. They will export the garageband file to MP3 and upload it to Glogster.
The glogster will be uploaded and put on the first page of their wikispace. The story will be copied and pasetd to the second page of their wikipsace along with a fancy title produced using Fireworks..
Finally, the students post their work on their own wikispace.

The students use the target language in a different structure, using an interactive tool. They enjoy exploring the options offered by Glogster.com. They practice the four language skills in cultural orientation, expanding their awareness of the French history.
